Creating a Software Platform for a Restaurant Franchisee


A franchisee of over 800 restaurants across the U.S. wanted to update its legacy franchise management system. The update was targeted at improving productivity in menu management and administration functions, as well as at taking advantage of a new revenue stream by packaging specific modules for sale to other franchisers.

MicroTech developed the foundation for the new product, designed to incorporate a variety of additional modules in the future, as well as the initial menu module. The company plans to build on this platform to add modules for such functions as management of recipes, stores and payroll.
